Emotional Vulnerability; Your Superpower

Image
It is high time for us to transform our dysfunctional ways of relating to one another, specifically the way we interact with the opposite sex. We cannot have awakened women without their male counterparts. Men cannot feel satisfied without the nurturing care of femininity. We need the Whole to be healed. That’s where we move from me to We, and that is where we enter Unity consciousness. There seems to be so much underlying fear around the feminine coming back to power. A fear that she will override or dominate the masculine, that she will cause war in order to gain victory. This is not the goal. The goal is mutual understanding. Temperance. Equality. Here is how I see things… Man, in order to be respected by woman, you must learn to cherish her. Woman, in order to feel cherished by man, you must find a way to respect him. Reciprocity is key, and it will take some adjustment, but ultimately this will set you free. Love your sisters. Honor your brothers. The fear m...

Shape of You; We Are All Beautiful

Image
I would only lose or add weight if it affected my health or sex life, which it doesn't and I'm not going to sacrifice my mental health to have the perfect body. Sometimes, I tend to wonder if this is about self-esteem or this is one of the addiction that has been inflicted upon us by our society and media, or if this is just nature via nurture or nurture via nature. This, I believe, is what all women (and men) are searching for; We think that we want to be thinner, fatter, with smaller or bigger boobs (or tall, muscular with abs) — the list goes on — and we waste so much time and money in pursuit of these things when actually all we are looking for is the feeling of being happy with ourselves and our bodies. Why are we not taught to love our own uniqueness? Probably because if we loved ourselves no matter what our faces and bodies looked like, then billions of pounds worth of industries would go bust! Imagine if we all love our body like Gabourey Sidibe loves hers, ...

The Girl Who is Afraid of Everything

Image
Yes!!! Its story time and i got one beautiful piece here. Its all about overcoming your fears, its all about finding your purpose and reason to overcome your fear. Once there was a girl who was afraid of everything. She lived on a tropical island of fearsome forests surrounded by cavernous seas. All the other islanders lived for adventure, it seemed, but not her. She watched the towering ocean waves rolling toward her, and gasped at the audacity of the swimmers who danced in the roar of the surf, bodies like slippery eels. Hugging her knees at a safe distance on the beach, the girl said to herself, “I could never do that.” As the children of the island dove, jumped, and spun into a thundering waterfall, the girl dipped her toes in the pool below and shivered with fright. “I could never do that,” she thought again. She hovered at the edge of the forest that bordered the village and peered through the trees. The hunters chased great beasts on foot, leaping tree...

Surrender #1; The Art of Doing Nothing

Image
I sit, wandering around the trails of my own mind. What am I searching for? Where can I find it? Lost, perhaps, but maybe not lost at all. Sometimes it helps to be a rudderless ship on the open sea, just allowing the wind to take you where you need to go. Sometimes it helps just to breathe when the stress of resistance becomes too great to bear. The Art of Doing Nothing is not doing nothing at all. It is the active work of the enlightened, and it takes serious practice. It takes active participation in surrender. It takes fucking balls. I’ve found that I was once way too afraid to practice the Art of Doing Nothing. I believed I had to act out, to be actively engaged in creating the life I thought I wanted. The problem is that I never really knew what I wanted. I just thought I knew. Where once I sought security through strength and violence I now find them in peace and love. Where once I sought happiness in wealth and materialism, I now find them in myself and in simplicit...

Why I Love You?

Image
“Why do you love me?” he heard her whisper in the night. He closed his eyes, a tear forming sure to stain his pillow. I love you because I do. I love you because the Universe showed me the way to you. I love you because my heart beats your name, my mind drowns in your eyes, and my soul feels yours even when we are miles apart. I love the way your smile lights up the room whenever you are around, I love you because you make me feel the way no one can. I love the way I was captured, bewildered, sunken in the sweet sand of adoration, looking up at you as if gazing at the sun, blinded by the light of something very special; you, when I first met you. I love you because I have no choice. I didn’t ask to love you. I didn’t need to love you, but I love you just the same. My arms aren’t filled unless you’re in them, and my thirst is not quenched unless you are the drink. I love you because I feel comfort in being out of my comfort zone with you by my side. I love you because every...

Within You Lies You

Image
Broken, like a shattered pieces of glass, more than it hurts you, it hurts those very close to you. Yet you can’t help but think about how much you are hurt. I know you are hurting. I know you are weak even in the strength you have described. I know you are afraid despite your protests of fearlessness. I know you feel alone despite the throngs of people around you. You are never alone, within you resides a voice, a voice that is begging to be heard. Go within to hear it. It’s there, singing a song you need to hear. It’s there, hitting notes that you, yourself, have written long before you were born. It’s there, offering a harmony that you, yourself, have composed. You feel that fear. It travels through you like a jolt of selfish electricity, yet within you there is a flame. Go within to find it. It’s there, warming up the coldest reaches of your heart. It’s there, crackling and raging while lighting up the pathways that you seek. It’s there, consuming all the debris and lie...

The Strange Man Behind The Keyboard?

Image
Hello world!!! It’s quiet in here, isn’t it? Thanks for stopping by. No, Seriously, thanks, I'm honored. My name is Sulaiman Kelvin, I guess that's sounds awkwardly beautiful, but you can call me Schido . I am a reserved Renaissance Man, all out making an impact. I am a Medical Biochemist, and I design and develop websites, I’m also staunchly pulled to reaching out, teaching and giving to others at my leisure. On this blog, I teach/discuss/write issues that cut across different categories, such as life, Spirituality, love, nature and sex. All of which are presented to you the best way I can. The objective is simple: It is to enlighten, motivate, inspire, as well as share mutual feelings that can be erotic at times, upon every visit you make. And hell Yes, You'll love it. Tighten your seat belt!!!
